One company with four locations in the Inn valley, that is Johann Dettendorfer Spedition. For years, it has been a good tradition at Dettendorfer to present the mayors of Nußdorf, Kiefersfelden, Flintsbach and Raubling with a donation at the end of the year. “Despite the pandemic, we have done quite well in the past year,” said senior boss of the forwarding company, Hans Dettendorfer, “we are happy about that and so we want the communities at our locations to share in that joy.” Together with his son Georg, Managing Director of the forwarding company, Dettendorfer presented a cheque for 5,000 euros to each of the communities. “The donations are earmarked and are to be used exclusively for youth work in the communities,” explained Georg Dettendorfer. The promotion of youth is particularly close to Georg Dettendorfer’s heart. “In the clubs, a lot is done for culture, sport and community. But often the youth gets a raw deal,” he says. He knows what he is talking about, as he himself is actively involved in various associations in our region, for example as a musician and chairman of the music promotion association in the Nußdorf district of Hinterberg.
